Abstract:
DAB Loodswezen was part of the Ministerie van de Vlaamse Gemeenschap; Administratie Waterwegen en Zeewezen in the previous structure.
Tasks are: the smooth and safe pilotage of ships at an acceptable price; responsibility, in the most efficient manner, for the actual pilotage; for remote pilotage; for provision of nautical expertise; and for traffic co-ordination; implementation of the plans for the introduction of multifunctional pilotage systems.
