Editor's comment Please see the original name, Lumbricus squamatus, for the neotype created by Surugiu et al. (2022). It is fundamental to taxonomy that types relate to the original name, not to subsequent combinations, of which there might be several. If a type is missing or there are other complications, this always relates to the original name, however inappropriate the genus placement (maybe in another phylum even) may seem now. [details]
